As a researcher who wants to garner media coverage for her research, I am keen on writing press releases and collaborating with my university institutional communications office to target media outlets. My most recent press release (featured here) yielded media interviews with Wyoming Public Radio, WyoFile, Cowboy State Daily, and Public News Service.

I wrote news stories for The Gainesville Sun in Gainesville, Florida, while a journalism student at the University of Florida. I covered local news, education, and economic issues.

I wrote and designed newsletters for a professional academic organization (AEJMC, Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication) while a professor at University of Wyoming.
